I've picked up a few tricks from years on set as an actor so now I make films of my own. I write, I direct, I edit, mix sound, compose score, and sometimes I build things too, but not very well. It would be nice and artsy for me to say my work is rich with subtext that captures the innate struggle and futility of humanity or something like that but I wouldn't believe it. I think we make films that reflect what it means to be human but that means so many different things to so many different people. And not everything needs to be rich with overt or covert significance. Sometimes we can just make things for the sake of making things. That's the philosophy of Nihilum Films: nothing means anything, and everything means nothing.
